(MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.) – Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar has doubled her 9-point lead over House Speaker Lisa Demuth in the Minnesota gubernatorial race since September polls. The current poll shows Klobuchar leads 56 percent to Demuth’s 38 percent.

Penny Flannigan, who had less than a 5-point lead over Michele Tafoya in the last poll, now holds a 14-point lead going into the November elections, 54 to 40 percent. The New York Times/Siena poll currently projects Democrats will win the Governor and Senate seats in Minnesota.

The narrow leads for Democratic candidates Klobuchar and Flannigan in the previous poll led many to think Republicans could hold both seats for the first time in decades. While recent polls are a bright spot for the Democrats, the race could still end in a historic Republican win once undecided voters weigh in.
Democratic candidate Tad Jude is the current front-runner for Secretary of State heading into the elections, maintaining a six-point lead on Republican Steve Simon. Undecided voters for Secretary of State are still in the double digits, so a six-point deficit isn’t a broad leap for Republicans to make to rally a win.

The Attorney General candidates' poll results are even closer, with Republican Ronald J. Schutz holding a narrow 4-point lead over Democratic candidate Keith Ellison. September poll results reflected a lead for Ellison, and the gap between the two candidates has fluctuated by four to five points throughout the election.

Republican candidate Scott Jensen trails Democrat Zack Filipovich by only one point for State Auditor. Like the Attorney General race, estimated voter numbers have fluctuated from poll to poll, with neither candidate holding a firm lead.
