(PENSACOLA, F.L.) --- Mayor D.C. Reeves will remain Pensacola’s leader for four more years.
Reeves' yellow bar on the Escambia County Elections Website unofficial results shows him at 53.45%, automatically giving him the win.

OpGov.News began covering the Primary Election in February, with five challengers throwing their hats in the ring against Reeves since.
Campaign profiles for Alicia Trawick, Jermaine Williams, Jasmine Brown, and Ann Hill collectively gained thousands of views, giving the public a chance to see their diverse platforms.
The candidates’ percentages show their hard work, with Trawick coming the closest to Reeves at 21% of the vote. Next, Hill got 10% of the vote, Williams was close behind at 8%, and lastly, Shorter had 3%.
Mayor Reeves' profile also offered a glimpse of what the incumbent accomplished in the last four years and his thoughts on the future. Council President Allison Patton will also serve another four years with Reeves, running unopposed for her district along with eight other unchallenged Escambia County elected official seats.
Unlike other candidates in Escambia County, Reeves does not have to sweat the November Election, which the Supervisor of Elections calls the Super Bowl.
“This is the playoffs,” Bender said early this afternoon while waiting for results. "Depending on what happens with the mayor's race, it could be decided tonight."
And it was.
With no November runoff election for Reeves or Patton, the two can remain comfortable in their dais seats for another four years.
