(TALLAHASSEE, FL.) Valentine's Day is coming up shortly, and a city like Tallahassee has numerous places to visit.
Many places also have reservations filling up fast, so it is imperative to make plans early.
Eve on Adams is well known as a popular Valentine’s Day spot, with a beautiful view over the city. Unfortunately, if you plan on having dinner at Eve on Adams or the Huntsman this Feb 14, you’re already too late.

Luckily, date night is far from ruined, with plenty of restaurants and activities still available.
If you enjoy a rooftop setting, Charlie Park has reservations for two available from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m..
Joellens has great breakfast options, as well as carryout available on Valentine’s Day. With a 4.0 rating, Joellens is one of the best and most affordable options. They’re open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Joellens is hosting two Valentine’s Day events, one in the afternoon and one at night. It’s a great option if your schedule is looking hectic on the big day.
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., you can get a three-course brunch priced at $45 a person.
Starting at 2 p.m. Joellens will transition to dinner, where a four-course meal is $100 a person.
If you want to explore a more affordable option, Joellens’ traditional menu will still be available, with favorites under $25 still available.
For a more classic feel, try il Lusso, a high-dollar steakhouse that also serves wine by the glass. There’s only one reservation spot left as of this writing.
If you choose to reserve at the four-star Google-rated restaurant, you can also order a custom cake to be delivered to your table. il Lusso offers cakes by size, flavors, and filling, with additional options for specialty cakes.

For Valentine’s Day, you can also request hand-painted chocolate boxes, but the boxes must be requested ahead of your reservation.
Instead of celebrating Valentine's Day, Deep Brewing Company is celebrating “Galentine’s Day” Feb. 14 with a Box of Chocolates Beer flight.
The Melting Pot is among restaurants celebrating Galentine’s Day, catering to groups who want to come throughout Valentine’s Day Week.
For some, there is so much more to Valentine’s Day than going to nice restaurants.
If you wish to embark on a scenic walk before dinner, there are many other options outside of Cascades Park.

Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park is a beautiful, floral place to visit this Valentine season, and is sure to provide a more intimate environment than Cascades Park.
If you wish to find a more guided event for your Valentine’s Day in 2026, consider the Tallahassee Museum.
For $60, or $110 per couple, you can enjoy a cocktail hour, which will be followed by a presentation about animal reproduction.
The event is 21 and up, and adds a disclaimer that it is an outdoor event. Food will be provided with vegan options.
If you wish to attend the $50 version of the event, you can register for the Galentine’s Day event on Feb 13.
