(PENSACOLA) --- The last will be first and the first will be last.
That is why I hope I am the last to report on the below re-branding unlike my former ABC peer Tanner Stewart as seen here.
Ya, I worked for WEAR, as you can read here.
Thank you Jesus for getting me out of a two-year corporate contract that was prepared to sue me if I left without good cause, but that is another story for another day since in the end I got a letter of reference from News Director Bob Noonan, successor to Kimberly Wyatt, who hired me.

While Noonan will be the first to tell you he won a Murrow Award, I will tell you I won a NJPA Award and ended up with my name above the fold of the New York TImes in October 2020 as read here.
So I would pay more attention to what I say than Stewart.
Again, love the kid and his gorgeous wife who is one of the reasons he is such a succes. But when you work for ABC, Sinclair Broadcast, you don't get to say or ask what you really want.
If I were to have interviewed Mayor D.C. Reeves on the rebranding I would have gotten right to the Jersey point and ask:
Does it not matter to you that you are spending $25K to have someone draw a few blue lines, when you could have held a citizen contest for free and used the $25K to feed the homeless in front of the Pensacola Library every Friday like I do with Brownsville Assembly of God?
So ya, that's what I would ask.
But I am thinking after writing this few stories posted below, Reeves would not call me back, so not wasting my time.
A
REPORT UPDATE
Since publishing this report 24 hours ago, I have three residents who have responded and for this I am thankful that we can all see that we are not alone.
That is the beginning of power.
