Empowering communities through transparent governance
(SAN RAMON) – San Ramon sees the need in the community during the Christmas season.
Let's begin with the Bay Area Rescue Missions' 12 Days of Giving Back.
"The Rescue Mission Renewed by Faith" tells the personal story of Jamilah and her rise from ashes to her true identity in Jesus Christ through Bible studies, faith-based classes, and counseling.
“I strengthened my faith, learned how to apply the word of God and put my life back together piece by piece," Jamilah sai, adding the Center for Women and Children helped her become the mother she needed to be.
This Christmas, Jamilah seeks employment and a stable home for her family.
“I'm hopeful and optimistic about the future,” she says with a smile. “I was sad and broken, but the Rescue Mission renewed my faith in God and life.”
