Dandelion Chocolate is a chocolate store with multiple locations in San Francisco. Their location on Fillmore Street notably includes beautifully-packaged chocolates that could make sweet, delicious gifts.

The store Love On Haight, located in the legendary Haight-Ashbury, sells heart-shaped sunglasses, card games, and stuffed animals at reasonable prices, in addition to a number of other items. They also offer gift wrapping, so customers can easily provide gifts to their valentines.

The restaurant Bella Trattoria, located on Geary Boulevard, is an Italian restaurant known for its house-made gluten-free gnocchi. They do take reservations, offer a variety of quality wine options, and have the potential to be the setting for a romantic date.
The lighting and decorations inside creates a calm, classy atmosphere. The food options are safe for people with allergies such as Celiac disease, so long as they are communicated to the staff so they know what precautions to take to avoid cross contamination.

On February 14th, the Golden Gate Theatre is putting on the famous ballet, Swan Lake, for one night only. The tickets are selling fast, so if a theatre date is ideal, then one must secure their seats quickly.

The SF Botanical Garden has what they call “Treemail Valentines,” a free event where couples and friends can express their love and support for nature by creating a Valentine and inserting it into a mailbox. People can address their valentines to their favorite plants in the garden.
These valentines are accepted on Valentine’s Day from 10:00am to 3:00pm for free.

St. Ignatius Church is hosting a Valentine’s Day Special candle-lit performance. On February 13th, the day before the holiday, couples and friends can sit and listen to classical renditions of love songs with church acoustics, under the soft glow of candle light.
