(SAN RAMON, CA.) – The City of San Ramon is ready to officially unveil its latest outdoor community space, Critter Crossroads Park, with a grand opening ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, Jul. 15.
Located at 1045 S. Monarch Road, the park is within a short distance of both Quail Run Elementary School and Gale Ranch Middle School, making it a highly anticipated addition for local families and students.
The new park features plenty of activities for everyone, whether you're looking to play sports or just relax. Amenities include a soccer and baseball field, a sand volleyball court, an outdoor workout area, and a paved walking loop.

The space also includes two playgrounds, two shaded picnic areas, and tables dedicated to games like ping pong, cornhole, and labyrinth.
Many San Ramon residents are looking forward to the park opening after watching its construction. Following the city’s announcement on Facebook and Instagram, online reactions from neighbors ranged from a simple “finally!” to “so exciting!” Another local added that they have “been waiting for this!”
The official grand opening celebration will run from 4:00 p.mm to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Visitors can look forward to speeches from local officials, explore the brand new park, participate in interactive activities, and eat free ice cream.
