Empowering communities through transparent governance
(SAN RAMON, CA) --- As a small business leader, I have helped people build businesses for years, including brainstorming their ideas into success.
While doing that, the most important thing we do is research to build a Minimum Viable Product.
Here we are discussing the election, so here I am finding a Minimum Viable Path through the lens of past data.
Based on the City of San Ramon data from my past election in 2024 as a Mayor.
Here is how each person voted in the Primary Election.

Here is the stats of November Election.

What is concerning is participation is low with voters (33.3%) who do not identify as REP of DEM.
The following important question is: why is participation low?
1. Awareness of Primaries.
2. No Options available for 33.3% voters. In the video below, I have highlighted that, for the past couple of decades, until the data is easily accessible, there has never been an option available for voters who do not identify with either party.
Another vital point I highlight here is the financial requirements; for this, we need to see how the two candidates, the only options available, spent their campaign funds.
Here is Rebecca Bauer Kahan's campaign finance from the last election.

Here is the finance of Joseph Rubay.

With that being said. I believe the Minimum Capital Requirement is lower than anticipated.
One of the most concerning points I see is that the cost of having support from the Democratic Party is staggering ~$250K.
The next point I want to highlight is how they spend. I want to detail one more in-depth research on the campaign spending.
Key Action items, i want the readers to understand is if we can increase the participation in the voters in primaries from current ~23% (NPP) to ~40%, a history will be created. Lets educate ourselves and our neighbours about primary election.
