Mayor Andre Dickens today announced the permanent appointment today in a press release.
English served an interim basis, but now the post is his.
Along with spearheading the Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative, English “played a central role in advancing the City’s efforts to address homelessness, helping to drive the $60 million Homeless Opportunity Bond, the single largest investment in Atlanta’s history,” according to the press release.
“Courtney English has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a steadfast commitment to the residents of Atlanta,” said Mayor Dickens said in the release.
