Ashlee Hofberger, the Pensacola District 4 Commissioner, could not hold back how thankful she was to the first responders during the hurricane: “I just want to say thank you to our emergency management office, everyone at EOC. Immediately prior to and following the storm, we took in over 3,800 phone calls, and I am so thankful that every single person that called 911 was able to get help, and I also want to say thank you to our Governor and to our state partners. There’s not one single thing that our community has asked for that we have not received, and we have been so blessed through all of this. I’ve seen the community come together.”
