(GARY, MN) - Cloudy skies and rain finally cleared, making it a beautiful night for an outdoor movie at Gary City Park. The event kicked off Gary Days, June 19, with a screening of Honey I Shrunk The Kids. At dusk, families gathered, bringing chairs and blankets to settle in for the show. Joel and Kathy Andersen sold concessions, including nachos, soft pretzels, old fashioned popcorn, and drinks.
Dale Gunnufson provided live music starting at 8 p.m. in Who’s Place, for any adults looking to unwind after a hard week of work. Gunnufson, a resident of Fertile, plays a mix of different music genres at venues around the area, though he's more known for 80's rock.
