(ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla.) - Escambia County, Florida, residents should have received official election mail from the office of Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender this past week. The newsletter does not endorse any candidate. Instead, it informs voters about ways to vote, includes a sample ballot, explains which forms of identification are accepted, and offers voting tips.

Your signature
When voting in person, it is important to sign your name the same way it appears on the ID you provide. This helps protect the safety and security of the voting process. Florida uses signatures as one method to prevent voter fraud. If your signature has changed significantly in recent years, you may update it at your polling location.
One voting tip included in the mailer is to mark your sample ballot and bring it with you to the polls. It can help you remember your choices and save time in the voting booth.
Inside the mailer, on page two, the section titled “Your Polling Place” identifies your precinct and provides its address. A QR code links to a map of your polling location.
Important dates to remember: The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Oct. 22, 2026. Early voting runs from Oct. 19-31, and Election Day is Nov. 3. All voting information is available at EscambiaVotes.gov. Voters can also email soe@escambiavotes.gov.
The sample ballot is attached to this article in case you did not receive it in the mail.
