(TRI-VALLEY, EAST BAY, CA) --- On May 27, the first volume of OpGov.News was printed and distributed throughout the region.
The very first article educated people about the value of the vote: Mathematics: Voters Worth $19K, Missing 65% Opponent On Ballot, Let's Fix It!
The first edition, which also featured more than a dozen reports on local elections and government policy, was distributed across the tri-valley in businesses throughout Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Livermore, and Pleasanton, all of which fall under AD 16, where Chirag Kathrani is running against incumbent Representative Rebecca Bauer-Kahan.
Seemingly, the first print edition's impact is visible in days.
The early Primary results show that participation in AD16, which covers these cities, was 20,000 votes higher than in the neighboring assembly district, which had similar three-way races.

While it can't be proven as fact that the edition directly affected the primary results, the numbers tell a story, as seen in the comparison below, showing that nearly 20K votes were cast in the AD 16 race compared to AD 11, 14, and 18.

What is a fact, and can be proven with numbers, is that most voters who came out showed loyalty to their party.
Kathrani pledged on the first day he threw his hat in the AD 16 ring, he was running not just to win, but to make a difference in election results. From the above comparison, he has reached that goal with OpGov.News online and print editions.
