(DUBLIN, CA.) --To celebrate the end of summer, Dublin will host Splatter, its end-of-summer festival in Emerald Glen Park. The event will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Splatter is a multicultural festival that the city of Dublin hosts every year from early to mid-September to celebrate the local community. The festival is free for anyone to attend. However, any optional add-on events, such as the many carnival rides, may cost an additional fee.
Guests are welcome to engage in a multitude of different activities, from carnival rides to art stations.
For the first time, before the festival itself, citizens may participate in the Splatter Color Dash. This is an event where guests shall run a 1.2-mile lap while getting hit by safe, colorful powder.
Runners will also be given white shirts before the run.
Anyone may participate in the Spatter Color Dash in one of two sessions: 9:00-9:30 a.m. or 9:30-10:00 a.m. Participation in The Color Dash requires a $25 fee for residents and $30 for non-residents.

Throughout the event, multiple musical performances by artists and bands will be featured on the park's Main Stage, Amphitheater Stage, and Side Yard Stage. Such bands include Night Train, Tyler Gene, Kung Fu USA, and many more throughout Splatter.
Also new to Splatter will be the Prisma Lounge VIP. This lounge will feature many food options that you can only get in the Tri-Valley community. Participants may also obtain vintage wine and beer.
Adults aged 21 and older are permitted. Prisma Lounge VIP pre-sale tickets will cost $75, while on-day tickets are $95.
The festival will feature many carnival rides and attractions all ages can enjoy. More events will be posted on the official Spatter website as the date approaches.
At the September 1 Dublin City Council meeting, unlike previous years, there will be no drone light show. Instead, the community will host a new, currently unannounced, event as a replacement.
Also included will be the High Life Art Exhibition. Anyone 14 and older may submit an art piece, and it must be either 2D or 3D. Currently, submissions are closed. The public exhibition shall run from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., during which the general public will be allowed to view the various art submissions and can bid on different "barrels of art". Afterward, a private Invitation-Only Opening Reception will run from 5:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m.
Art pieces may be selected by the judges to win prizes in the “Best of Show” and “Honorable Mentions” categories.
In addition, throughout the park, you may find stations where guests can participate in various arts and crafts. These stations will feature activities such as origami, chalk art, paper mask making, maraca-making, and more.
Pets are not permitted in the park during Splatter.
