(DUBLIN, CA.) – Dublin’s Red, White, & Blue Backyard Bash will be hosted on Saturday, July 4 from 10am to 4pm.
Located at Dublin Sports Ground on 6700 Dublin Blvd, this event celebrates America’s 250th anniversary and California’s 175th anniversary.

Attractions:
This event will host a large number of vendors. Including their goods, the event will feature:
Food trucks
Artisan vendors
Carnival games
Family fun zone
Inflatable Attractions
Live music

What to bring:
Dublin’s official event description suggests that attendees bring “lawn chairs, blankets, and their patriotic pride as we come together for a memorable Fourth of July celebration.”
Additionally, weatherspark.com reports that the average temperature on this day peaks 81°F.
According to the graph below, the temperature at the beginning of the event, which is 10 a.m., is usually around 68°F.

With these averages, it would be safe to wear breathable clothes to help with potential heat, possibly bringing a light sweater in case of clouds or a breeze.

Volunteer opportunities:
Another way to get involved with this community event is to apply for a volunteer position.
The job description states that volunteers are needed to “assist with carnival games, inflatable attractions, activity stations, contests, guest services, and event support throughout the day.”
There are two shifts available, with the first beginning at 9:30am and ending at 12:30pm. The second picks up at 12:30pm and runs until 4pm.
These shifts are open to any community member, including students and whole community groups.
Volunteers may also pick up multiple shifts.
