We did more research on BallotReady.org and found another alarming stats.
Progressive looking State is struggling with keep up with the basic concept of democracy which is to drive competition.
The task of encouraging competition goes on media. We have an entire article where we have displayed how the media reacted when the voter approved law was going deleted.
And the council member who publicly claimed council has no power and voter approved law should go back to voters. When I faced a similar situation in 2024, the first thing I learned was that it costs only $50 to run, put your name on the ballot, and collect 20 signatures.
If you don’t win, at least your name would give people a choice. It will also ensure, elected officials would not act so ruthlessly.
