That discovery prompted a coordinated search involving California State Parks, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Dive Team, the Folsom Police Department, and the Folsom Fire Department.
OpGov.ai confirmed through California State Parks that dive teams located and recovered the man’s body at about 11:20 a.m. on Dec. 29. Investigators are waiting for the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office to arrive and confirm the man’s identity.
Officials have not released additional details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
