(PENSACOLA) --- Ten Blue Wahoos players were called up to Major League Baseball teams this season alone.
Not to mention the other 150 since 2012.

That excellence comes from childhood dreams, according to Blue Wahoos Broadcasting and Media Relations Manager Erik Bremer.
“Every one of our players was once a kid dreaming of playing professional baseball, and is working toward their ultimate goal of making it to the big leagues,” Bremer said.
Individual dreams help create the team's mission to create memorable experiences for fans.
“The Blue Wahoos make memories every night, both for our longtime fans and for those experiencing their first baseball game,” Bremer said. “The access our young fans have to the players before and after the game is unique to Minor League Baseball, and something we make a priority in our clubhouse.”

But it’s not just about baseball, according to the media manager, who said the team welcomes people from different backgrounds.
“We provide affordable family fun, whether you're a baseball fan or are just looking for a night out,” Bremer said.
The affordable night out contributes to a healthy city economy, since all profits are reinvested into the community by the local owners Quint and Rishy Studer.
“Blue Wahoos Stadium is a destination for out-of-town visitors, and has become a central part of the revitalization of downtown Pensacola,” Bremer said.

The Studer Community Institute, run by Quint Studer, engages with the community full-time.
“Blue Wahoos Stadium hosts events year-round, from youth football to community worship nights and more,” Bremer said. “Kazoo's Reading Program visits thousands of school kids every year and rewards them for reading with free tickets to Blue Wahoos games.”
Bremer said fans can catch a glimpse of Kazoo around town with regular community appearances. Whether on or off the field, the mascot and team remain dedicated to giving Pensacolans a better summer experience with every season.

“When people come to a Blue Wahoos game, it's the highlight of their day and our staff takes that responsibility seriously,” Bremer said.
