ATLANTA – Mayor Andre Dickens defeated three candidates in the local race for the head seat on the dais.
OpGov.ai reported on all candidates a day before the final vote. Now that the numbers are in, Dickens has 44,594 votes, Helmut Domagalski has 1,637, Kalema Jackson has 2,446, and Eddie Meredith has 2,761.

Needless to say, a landslide win.
“I feel pretty confident about us going into this re-election with a win,” Dickens told WSB-TV Michael Dounda.
Domagalski resigned as Atlanta inspector general in February and believes Atlanta has been mismanaged for years. Jackson served 13 years as a police officer for the city of Atlanta. Meredith created an app, which can be seen on his website so voters can stay up to date on his policies during election season.

Atlanta City Council President winner Marci Collier Overstreet showed through strong voting numbers at 29,254 votes that she was the top choice.
Challenger Rohit Malhotra, who is a nationally recognized civic leader with deep roots in Atlanta, according to his website, had 21,423 votes.
With 64.66% of the vote, Councilmember Michael Julian Bond keeps his position on Atlanta City Council post one at large, winning by 32,189 votes. Bond ran against Matt Rinker, garnering 8,046 votes, and Juan Mendoza, who was recognized in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's prestigious 35 Under 35 class, with 9,544 votes.
Councilmember Jason Dozier won with 2,227 votes, showing he is the right person for the job.
Dozier’s opponent, Deborah Williams, has a private website, meaning people can’t see what her campaign was about prior to the election, only received 902 votes.
Councilmember Byron D. Amos received 2,164 votes and keeps his spot on the Atlanta City Council.
Amos ran against Perrin Bostic, who received 1,145 votes. Bostic’s website claims that he built his career around one mission: to uplift and invest in the communities too often overlooked.
Dustin Hillis stays with the Atlanta City Council after receiving 4,179 votes. Hillis' opponent, Charles Bourgeois, who has a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Morehouse, received 2,997 votes.
Councilmember Antonio Lewis keeps his seat in the Atlanta City Council after receiving 1,879 votes.
Lewis’s challenger, Stephanie Flowers, a native of Atlanta who understands the challenges and opportunities facing our communities, according to her website, received 1,095 votes.
His other opponent, Delvin D. Davis, who studied political science and English writing at Alabama State University, received 371 votes.
Finally, councilmember Douglas J. Derito keeps his spot after receiving votes. Challenger, Tate Holcombe, who graduated from Samford University, received votes.
